This mare could put any breeding program on the map. Not only is she exceptional in her own right, she's also a full sister to TWO Sport Horse Award winners (and there has only been nine in the history of the breed.) Big, black and snorty, Lemon Fair is rear-wheel drive with tremendous impulsion. Bred only once due to the economy, her only foal, the 15.3 Otter Creek, is just starting his career. An irreplaceable, once-in-a-lifetime mare, but she deserves to leave her legacy in an active breeding program.

CANEQUIN'S MAGNETIC NORTH
(Equinox Locomotion x Equinox Magnifikate)

This adorable gelding was well started under saddle and beginning lateral work when he developed a single, totally-perplexing episode of laminitis at age 6. He has been problem-free ever since, but he does require shoes in front for work on rough ground. He long-lines beautifully and at one point was hitched to a drag in anticipation of a driving career. He is available on a long-term lease to a small rider or a driver who enjoys a really pretty horse with some moxie.

CANEQUIN'S LETTER PERFECT
(Equinox Locomotion X Roman Elite)

Foaled June 6, 1996

Perfect spent much of his life in the hands of two “professionals” and a novice junior rider. After being rescued and rehabilitated, he was brought along slowly as an eventer. He was also subsequently trained to drive by Larry Poulin. Although he has Grand National dressage championships to his credit, he clearly expresses the most joy in his enthusiasm for jumping and trail riding. He is offered on a lease-with-option-to-buy contingency, but be forewarned: your riding and horsemanship credentials will have to be very much in order.

(Canequin’s Lionheart X Canequin’s Film Star)

Foaled May 19, 1997

Target was trained and competed by Liz Gesler. He sampled dressage, jumping and eventing before finding his niche as a competitive trail horse, with blue ribbons to confirm his ability. Sadly, one bad step in pasture resulted in two knee chips, ending his high-mileage career. Target is also available on a long term lease arrangement, but requires a light rider with light hands for light riding. He’s people-friendly, thrives on attention and has impeccable manners.
