(Wales Farm Gaylite x Gladgays Lady Lea)
May 5, 1974 - October 19, 2004
As a young horse, LOCOMOTION was ridden and driven over the hills of Vermont. He was lightly shown in 1980 to considerable success, including a championship in English Pleasure at the prestigious New England Regional Morgan Horse Show. He was then retired to stud.
LOCOMOTION had 35 offspring to his credit, the first being born in 1979 and the last in 1997. He produced the highest percentage of winning open competition Morgans in the history of the breed and is the only stallion to sire two Morgan Sport Horse Award winners.
